Teucheen Wood has now officially re-opened, following its closure due to damage from Storm Éowyn. Fallen trees blocking paths have been cleared and a visual tree assessment has been carried out along the woodland’s paths and boundaries. Over the weekend, our Friends of Teucheen Wood volunteers were hard at work on path maintenance, making good use of the woodchip from storm damaged trees to improve muddy areas.
As we enter the wildlife breeding season (March - July), we’ve reinstated signs reminding visitors that vulnerable ground nesting birds use Inchinnan’s fields and grasslands during this time. To help protect them from disturbance or harm, please stick to footpaths and ensure dogs are kept on lead.

Thank you for your patience during Teucheen’s close and a big thank you to our volunteers for their continued hard work in the woodland!
