We had our Friends of Teucheen Wood volunteer group in the woodland again last weekend helping with some litter removal, rubbish clearance and vegetation maintenance.
Teucheen Wood has had years of unmanaged fly tipping/rubbish dumping, prior to being brought into community ownership, which threatens both the wildlife who call Teucheen home and the overall health of the woodland.
Clearing this up is quite the task so we’ll be tackling it bit by bit with our fantastic Friends of Teucheen Wood volunteers - who, as you can see, made a great start on Saturday!
